This picturesque setting provides the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable adventure. Depending on the group's abilities and preferences, we offer excursions along two different rivers, ensuring that each outing is tailored to meet the specific needs of our participants. The exact location will be confirmed over email upon booking, ensuring you embark on the perfect gorge walking adventure amidst the natural splendour of the Brecon Beacons.

Duration and Inclusions

Our gorge walking sessions typically last for 4 hours, encompassing everything from meeting with our instructors to changing into appropriate gear and receiving a safety briefing. Participants can expect to spend a minimum of 3 hours actively engaged in the outdoor adventure experience, exploring the stunning landscapes and traversing the gorges.

Where Is It? 
 

Our Gorge Scrambling experience takes place in waterfall country in the Brecon Beacons. We have two different rivers we can use - one for Canyoning and one for Gorge Scrambling. We will confirm the exact location on the phone when you book.

What Do We Provide?

Wetsuits: Stay warm and comfortable throughout the experience with our top-quality 5mm winter wetsuits.

Buoyancy Aids: Stay afloat and ensure safety in the water with our buoyancy aids.

​

Helmets: Protect your head during the adventure with our provided helmets.

​

Instructor: Our experienced instructors are dedicated to ensuring you have the best possible experience throughout the day.

What To Bring

​

Footwear: Old trainers are recommended, but we also offer wetsuit boots for £25 a pair if needed.

​

Shorts: Bring shorts to wear over your wetsuit for added padding and comfort.

​

Swim Gear: Wear suitable swim gear under your wetsuit for added warmth.

​

Towel & Warm Clothes: Bring a towel and warm clothes for after the experience to stay cozy.

​

Lunch: Pack a lunch if you anticipate getting hungry after the adventure.

​

Yourself: Most importantly, bring yourself and your adventurous spirit!

Our gorge walking tours are guided by one instructor for every 12 people. Larger groups are accommodated with additional instructors. Prices range from £50 to £70 per person.

Gorge walking and gorge scrambling are the same thing, you are in the river walking and scrambling thought the river. Our more difficult activity is called canyoning.

How long does it take to get to the nearest city? 

Swansea is about 30 minutes away from the gorge and Cardiff is just under an hour away from this activity. So you can rest in the car as you drive through the welsh landscape on your way to the location. 

North Wales or South Wales? 

When deciding between North Wales and South Wales for your outdoor adventures, both regions offer incredible opportunities for exploration and excitement. However, after careful consideration, we've come to the conclusion that South Wales is preferable to North Wales for this adventure.

One of the standout features of South Wales is its accessibility. With major cities like Cardiff and Swansea serving as gateways to the great outdoors, you're never far from an adventure. Plus, a well-developed network of roads and public transportation makes getting around a breeze.

 

In terms of outdoor activities, South Wales truly shines.
